Waverley Club Champs

The Waverley Tennis Club Championships take place annually in February/March. The Pickleball Club Championships takes place annually in October/November.

Tennis League

Waverley Tennis Club takes part in most of the leagues organized by Tennis South Africa. In order to represent Waverley in the league, you must be a member of the club. Members are responsible for their own GNTA registration fees, payable directly to GNTA or on arrangement through the club. Each league runs for 5-6 weeks and there are different leagues for mixed doubles, and men's and ladies' doubles.

Member Info

Keys for the courts: All members have access to keys for the courts at a R250 returnable deposit. Members are expected to lock the courts and the main gate after they have used the courts.

Non-members: You are more than welcome to play with non-members, but they do need to pay a visitor fee of R20 per person for tennis or R30 per person for pickleball into the honesty box.

Floodlights: Lights are booked and used at additional cost. There are tokens for the lights available at R20 per token for 30 minutes. 

 

Note that: In the year junior members turn18, they will become adult full members on a pro-rata basis.
